When was the last time you chose to sell your product at below cost???
At those rates that's what these hucksters are telling you.
And then to make it worse, they will offer you a free terminal!!
Sounds too good to be true...well it is!!
(When was the last time you got some for nothing?)
Most of these deals will prey upon your lack of knowledge as to the actual cost of each transaction and the difference in cost (passed on to you the merchant) for surcharging of specialty cards that visa/mc offer to your customers.
Go ahead...ask these people who offer this rates. either they will LIE and tell you that they don't have those charges or tell you they don't know and will get back to you.
None of these people will be there after you sign a CONTRACT (generally with an expensive early termination fee).
Go to Visa and/or MasterCard on the internet and find these price charts. These costs are regulated!!
